Brianna was in the back seat with her boyfriend. Two friends had stopped by and wanted them to see the driver's new car. He was unframiliar with the road and went left of center...and broad-sided a coal truck. Bri was not wearing her seat belt.(I had never seen her not wearing a seat belt...) She received a brain injury on impact. She never spoke...She never responded to her injuries...I imagine that in a split second, she was here...and the next split second, she was in Heaven. Bri's family went from Summersville Memorial Hospital to Charleston General Hospital to be with her. She was pronounced brain-dead on 2-1-06. The other three passengers received only minor injuries.
